Vagistat-1 is indicated for the local treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis (vaginal yeast infection).

Vagistat-1 contains tioconazole, an azole antifungal that works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a critical component of fungal cell membranes, thereby preventing the growth and replication of Candida yeast.

For vaginal use only. Patients should read and follow the product instructions carefully. If symptoms do not improve within 3 days or last more than 7 days, medical consultation is recommended. Those with a history of allergic reactions to azole antifungals should avoid this product. Pregnant women should consult a healthcare provider before use.
