Temporarily relieves symptoms associated with the common cold, hay fever, and other upper respiratory allergies including: sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose and throat, itchy/watery eyes, and nasal/sinus congestion.
Diphenhydramine blocks the effects of histamine (an allergic substance) in the body to reduce allergic symptoms. Phenylephrine constricts blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion to ease breathing.
May cause drowsiness; avoid alcohol and operating machinery until you know how the medication affects you. Do not use if you have certain medical conditions (heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid problems, diabetes, glaucoma, or prostate issues) without consulting a doctor. Not recommended for children under 6 years unless directed by a physician. Do not take with other diphenhydramine or decongestant products.
