Zoryve is FDA-approved for the topical treatment of plaque psoriasis in adults and pediatric patients 12 years of age and older. It is applied as a foam for scalp psoriasis and as a cream for plaque psoriasis on the body.

Zoryve contains roflumilast, a phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor. It works by blocking the PDE4 enzyme, which increases levels of cyclic AMP (cAMP) inside cells. This leads to reduced production of pro-inflammatory mediators and decreased inflammatory responses in the skin.

Zoryve is for topical use only and should not be used in or around the eyes, mouth, or vagina. It is generally well-tolerated with a low systemic absorption profile. The foam formulation is designed for scalp application, while the cream is for body areas. Patients should follow their healthcare provider's instructions for application frequency and duration of treatment.
